Welcome

My name is Delma Vega and I was born in Havana, Cuba, but spent the last six years in Marathon, an island in the Florida Keys. I am a freshman and my desired major is Nursing. Ever since I was little, writing and composition were my favorite subject because I was born with a limitless, wild  imagination and I tended to express it in writing. I always loved writing and what it entails, while it is true that some people enjoy different works ,which vary on their preferences and their learning abilities, I always favored fiction writing because it is very open-form and I can go anyway I want with the work while leaving room for readers to interpret their own ideas about it. What I love about writing is that since you can formulate your own concepts about it, it can be viewed as expression and as an art. Reading and writing can make you feel alive by living vicariously through the words, ideas, and experiences of others.
